Located right on the beachfront Coconut Seafood Restaurant is an ideal island setting for an evening meal. We tried three mains, a prawn noodle, spicy seafood, chicken tom yum and the Thai fish cakes for starters. All of the mains were flavoursome and generally well balanced, the only criticism being they could have held back a little on the salt. The fish cakes were huge, and delicious, probably the best we've had in Phuket. The staff were super friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. For three mains, one starter, a jasmine rice, one fresh coconut and four small Chang beers we paid around 1500 baht, relatively expensive for Phuket but quite reasonable considering its quite a remote area. Prices at the two resorts on the island would be considerably more. If you are staying on Coconut Island a visit here is highly recommended.
