Traveling from the U.S., we were expecting great food in Taipei, but we didn't expect to find such an incredible cocktail bar. Cocoon Poolside Bar has one of the most beautiful atmospheres we've experienced in Asia. The design is modern and elegant, with warm amber lighting, comfortable lounge seating, and breathtaking views of the Taipei skyline at night. We spent nearly three hours here enjoying cocktails while watching an international football match projected on the large screen. What impressed us most was how the bar managed to create excitement without becoming noisy. The music, lighting, and overall vibe felt more like a luxury lounge than a sports bar. The bartender clearly take pride in their craft. Watching them prepare drinks at the beautifully designed bar was part of the experience itself. Every cocktail was balanced, creative, and worthy of a five-star hotel. Many hotel bars feel formal or overpriced, but Cocoon felt genuine. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional, and the entire evening felt effortless from beginning to end. If you're visiting Taipei and looking for a sophisticated place to enjoy cocktails, city views, and a relaxed luxury atmosphere, Cocoon Poolside Bar should be on your list. One of the highlights of our Taiwan trip. Price per person: $400–600
