An authentic Korean dining experience that exceeded my expectations. I had a wonderful experience at Yukmihyang in Taean. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine Korean hospitality. The restaurant was spotless, quiet, and very relaxing. We arrived early, so it wasn't crowded, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The service was outstanding. Everyone was polite, discreet, and attentive without ever being intrusive. The food arrived surprisingly quickly, and every dish was beautifully presented. We enjoyed premium Korean grilled beef, a wide variety of traditional banchan, kimchi, multigrain rice, soups, and an excellent yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) served with fresh vegetables, sesame seeds, and a raw egg yolk. I also had the opportunity to try their traditional Korean spirit, which completed the authentic experience. I made a point of trying everything. The only dish that wasn't really to my personal taste was the seaweed soup. It wasn't bad at all—it simply isn't something I would order again. Of course, that's purely a matter of personal preference. The total bill for two people was €110.84 (approximately ₩195,000 at the current exchange rate), and in my opinion it was absolutely worth it. I honestly lost count of how many different dishes and side dishes were served. They also accept credit cards, which was very convenient. Overall, this was an outstanding introduction to authentic Korean cuisine. Excellent food, impeccable cleanliness, fast service, and truly warm hospitality. I would happily return and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₩80,000–90,000 Vegetarian options: This restaurant is primarily focused on premium Korean beef and Korean BBQ, so it is not an ideal destination for vegetarians. However, there are several vegetable side dishes (banchan), rice, salads, kimchi, and some soups that vegetarians may be able to enjoy. It's best to ask the staff about the ingredients before ordering, as many traditional Korean dishes may contain fish sauce or seafood-based seasonings. Dietary restrictions: If you have food allergies or strict dietary requirements, let the staff know before ordering. Korean cuisine often includes soy, sesame, seafood, fish sauce, and broths made from meat or seafood, even in dishes that appear vegetarian. The staff were very polite and helpful during our visit, so I'm confident they would do their best to assist with dietary requests.
