I live in Chiang Rai and love cycling around the area. There are so many lovely cafes around the city that it is often difficult to judge which is better than the rest because many are so good. Coffee in Garden does stand out though. It is an excellent place at which to stop for a break with a lovely Thai feel and look to the sitting areas. The food is delicious. For my first stop I had Thai chicken curry which was simply wonderful. The coffee was satisfyingly good - flavoursome and balanced. The owner grows cocoa trees in her garden and sells cocoa nibs. I did not have enough space to carry a pack this time but I sure will buy some at my next stop - which won't be too long away. This cafe is too good to miss.
