Matcha hunt at AMK! My SO was craving matcha while we were at Ang Mo Kio Central, so I did a quick Google Maps search and found Coffee On Demand nearby. What we ordered: Strawberry Matcha Latte Ceremonial grade matcha Fresh strawberry compote Oat milk base The verdict: The combination sounded amazing on paper - ceremonial grade matcha with fresh strawberry compote is always a win! However, my SO felt the matcha flavor was a bit weak. Could be because we waited too long to drink it and the ice melted, diluting the taste Pro tip: If you order this, drink it fresh and fast to get the full matcha experience before the ice melts! Still, points for using ceremonial grade matcha and real strawberry compote. Would probably try again but drink it immediately next time! Order placed via WA, respond was quick, owner was flexible & accomodating. Both Strawberry Houjicha Latte & Genmaicha Latte (oatmilk) was lovely and enjoyable. As I generally prefer less milky and more tea & roasted flavour, this two cuppie were great pick! Price per person: SGD 1–10
