Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, great beach. A little bit more expensive than some places but with the view and the beach, hammocks and atmosphere it’s worth it, we were staying right across the road for a month so can here at least 6 times a week for either lunch or dinner. Staff are super nice, reggae music is amazing and just a hidden gem. I can recommend pretty much everything on the menu and the chicken satay is a firm favourite and out of this worlds Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Incredible location. The natural breakwater just off shore keeps the waves at bay and the water exceptionally warm along the shore, and it’s super shallow as well, so you can have the most relaxing plunge. The owner and her small dog are absolutely lovely. Great drink prices and rustic charm. You won’t regret visiting Cool Bar if you’re in the area—the perfect beachside stopover. We visited twice during our time on Samui. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
