Among all the cafes in Hong Kong, Cotton Lane Cafe is the one I patronize most. It is a cozy, tranquil sanctuary tucked away in the heart of Happy Valley. Every dish is made to order, vividly demonstrating their "homemade freshness above and beyond" philosophy. Three items are absolute must-orders: (1) Pumpkin Soup: A premium, comforting starter boasting a velvety texture. It arrives steaming hot in a contemporary bowl, accompanied by thick, crusty artisanal toast. (2) Golden Mini Croissants: Exceptionally light, flaky, and buttery. Freshly baked and perfect as a dessert. (3) Rose Sparkling Tea: A light, bubbly, and refreshing alternative to heavy coffee. It is sweet, highly aromatic, and a total treat. Lori and her team are incredibly welcoming and hospitable. The spotlessly clean, quiet, and contemporary atmosphere is exactly what most cafes in Hong Kong lack nowadays. No wonder they have won awards for being the best cafe in town! We had a birthday party here. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Food and drink all well served. Tasty and look good. The restaurant is neat and tidy. Very bright and high ceiling. Highly recommended. Definitely will come back for more regular lunch and breakkie next time. Meal type: Other Price per person: HK$500+ Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
