Have always dined at this hotpot place. Staff are attentive and the place is very clean. There is also kids meal which my kids enjoy very much. They cooked the food for them, which enables them to also have the hotpot experience. Soup base is delicious and they have free flow lu Rou fan which my son enjoys. Overall a very family friendly and great place. No hassle for the parents, albeit a little pricey. But the food is worth it. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Hotpot, Sichuan Style Spicy Soup Base Fish with Sichuan Pickles Souplate, Soup, Noodles

I’ve been hearing about this place from a foodie friend for quite some time, and finally had the chance to try it today. There’s a good variety of soup bases available, priced at around $38 per pot. The interior of Cou Cou Hotpot is cozy and inviting, with lighting that feels just right—not too bright, not too dim. The selection of meats, seafood, and vegetables was extensive. The meat quality stood out in particular—fresh, nicely marbled, and vibrant in colour. We chose the coconut soup base, which was sweet, fresh, and packed with ingredients. The sauce station was well stocked, and they even offered complimentary 卤肉饭, which was surprisingly good. Drinks came in generous portions too, almost like A&W mug sizes, so sharing is definitely an option. One thing we appreciated was leaving the restaurant without the usual hotpot smell lingering on our clothes. Compared to Haidilao, I would say the level of service was comparable. The soup bases are different in style, but in terms of meat quality, I personally felt Cou Cou had the edge. We paid around $150 for two pax. Whether it’s worth it depends on the individual, but for me, it’s a solid 5-star experience.
