The beef noodles are simply the best. Considering the portion size, the price is very reasonable. The sweetness of the gravy is nicely balanced by the salted vegetables. The noodles are already very good on their own, but if you want an extra punch of flavor, add some chili and onions, which you can help yourself to freely at the stall front. This stall deserves wider recognition and support because good traditional local food is becoming increasingly difficult to find nowadays. Unfortunately, the atmosphere cannot be rated highly since the stall is located in a coffee shop rather than a restaurant. Similarly, the service cannot be rated highly either, as it operates on a self-service basis. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I chose to try this stall because there was a queue. It must be popular with the residents in the area. Each bowl was made with care. I like the little touches -- the saucers are not the disposable type and are large. There was pickled onion and two chilli sauces. For the brave, there is also the option of the "sibeh" spicy. Perhaps there could have been more kiam chye topping. Overall a pleasant experience. Meal type: Lunch Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Tried the Cowboy Beef Noodles and was pleasantly surprised. The ingredients are fresh, and there are many different types of noodles to choose from, which is a big plus. I ordered the dry version, which comes with Chinese prickly vegetables that add a nice crunch and make the dish even more flavourful. The soup version is also very good — rich, brothy, and full of flavour. Looking around, most of the tables had orders from this stall, which says a lot. CDC vouchers are accepted here too, making it even better. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
