This is my favorite restaurant in Tainan. As a vegan french customer, I struggled a bit to find vegan options and I have found here the most kind personal, every waiter and waitress being exceptionally nice and patient, and the best tofu soup I tasted. I would recommand 1000% ! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Vegan options here !

Food was okay. Some dishes tasted better than the others. The 羅漢藥膳麵was very mediocre. No herbal taste at all, the radish and carrot were quite firm. There was some stinky tofu in it too which I am not a fan of, didn't know it came with this noodles. The kimchi bibimbap came with half a hardboiled egg which shocked me because it was not labeled on the menu that it had egg. But the staff was quick to help me with the change. The braised tofu and dumplings were the nicest amongst the dishes I ordered. Very flavourful. Cinnamon Apple pancake has cheese topping as default, they were able to omit that if you inform them beforehand. Please let them know you don't consume dairy and eggs so that they can advise you which dishes are vegan. Not all dishes are vegan despite the shop name, so please ask.
