This was one of the places on my friend’s recommendation list. We didn’t have very high expectations at first, so we only bought one Truffle Homey Shokupan to try. To our surprise, it was absolutely amazing! The bread was incredibly soft, fresh, and full of flavor. Before flying home, we specially went back to buy more, but because of the short shelf life, there wasn’t much ready stock available. However, the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. If you’re planning to bring some home, I’d recommend pre-ordering in advance — they can even arrange delivery to your hotel, so you don’t have to make a special trip. Got the truffle honey bread and it was expensive but nice. The loaf that we bought had 4 slices inside and I could taste the truffle - they didn't skimp on it.
