On our previous visit to Old Town in Phuket, CueBar was unfortunately closed, just as we were hoping to enjoy a few drinks and a relaxed game of pool. This time, we came specifically for the Sunday market — however, I’m genuinely pleased that we decided to knock on the doors of CueBar as well. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. The cocktails were exceptionally well crafted, full of flavour and beautifully presented, priced very reasonably at 200–220 baht. What truly stood out, though, was the pool table. At only 20 baht per game, it represents incredible value, and it is clear that the table is meticulously maintained. In fact, it was the best table I’ve had the pleasure of playing on during the past seven months of travelling across Southeast Asia. We ended up playing ten games, enjoying several excellent drinks, and leaving thoroughly impressed by both the attentive service and the remarkable quality of the cocktails. A sincere thank you to the entire team for such a fantastic experience — we will most certainly be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ฿400–600
