世界各国のスペシャルティコーヒーが飲めるお店。飲む前にマスターが自分の好みを聞いてくれる。価格帯は大体150元程度と台湾では高い方だが、台北と比較するとそれでも30～40元程度は安いように思われる。今回はマスターと相談して、余り酸っぱくなく苦みのあるコスタリカ産のコーヒーを入れてもらった。花のフルーティーの香りが第一印象で、とても安らかな気持ちになれたように思う。店内は畳敷きのため、近くのアーティスティックな区画を歩き疲れた時に立ち寄るのも良いだろう。ちなみに、こちらのビルの2階は一日200元で使用できるコワーキングスペース、3階から5階はゲストハウスとなっている。コワーキングスペースについてはコーヒーも無料で飲めるとのことなので、次回台南に来た際には使ってみようと思う。

We ordered a double espresso and one of their filter coffees. For the espresso, there were four different bean options to choose from, each with its own characteristics. The baristas took the time to explain the differences, which we really appreciated. We went for the Introvert beans, which were beautifully balanced, fruity, and incredibly tasty. We also ordered a filter coffee from Rwanda, brewed using the Nucleus Paragon. The coffee was very mild but still packed with flavor. We especially enjoyed the tasting cups they served it in, which added to the experience. The staff was friendly and happy to talk about the coffees available that day. The drinks arrived fairly quickly. Water was self-service, but the espresso came with a glass of sparkling water and ice, which was a nice touch. The only slightly confusing moment was that the staff initially insisted that the filter should also be brewed over ice, but we eventually came to an agreement. The café itself was very stylish, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. The Japanese-inspired seating options were a welcome change and made the place feel unique. We also tried the durian cake. You could tell that the durian used was dried rather than fresh, but the cake was still tasty and enjoyable. We didn’t check for WiFi or power outlets.
