Cupcakes look aesthetically nice but the taste has deteriorated over time. Bought on a Sunday (assuming high turnover on a weekend) but the cupcakes were lack of flavour & very dry. The icing texture was 'rough'... The size may have shrunk a tiny bit. Nevertheless, staffs(Tampines 1) were polite & pleasant...

Update: Management's prompt response to the service lapse has regained back my trust. It is inevitable to have service lapses in the service industry, and what is admirable is management's quick response and rectification of it. Well Done Cupcakes with Love. I have amended my review from 1* to 4*. Previous: Terrible service at the Tampines 1 outlet. I intend to get 8 cupcakes for a birthday celebration. Your staff mentioned that the outlet had ran out of 8 cupcake size boxes. And the only way to get that number is to use the 6 cupcake size box, plus 2 single size boxes that are charged at $1 each!! Is Cupcakes with Love also in the business of selling boxes? It is absolutely mind-boggling to be charging your customers for single boxes that is at the fault of the company for running out of 8-cupcake-size boxes. What's more, at $1 per box, I can imagine your margin to be at least 500% of cost. I think you can just sell boxes, with cupcakes as the sideline. I can imagine if I were to get 5 cupcakes, I will need to pay $5 more just for the boxes. Great business strategy! Unfortunately, we had no choice but to purchase the boxes due to promises to our friends. But this bitter experience will definitely not have me patronize your store again.

Ordered from them one month in advance for my bff's birthday in January. Replies were understandably slow, as they were in their busy period, but nonetheless the service given was exceptional. They still adhered to my requests although i made changes and although i was supposed to make it at a certain timing for me to take my cake and i couldnt make it as i was too tired from night shift, they made the effort to deliver them to my house. On the cakes side, my bff totally enjoyed the cakes. Except that maybe the cakes should be labelled according to their flavours? As we were confused as to which ones were they, esp between baileys and milktea earl. As we didnt know which flavours were which, my friend thought the bailey's tasted like cheese. Maybe u guys can make an improvement on dat? The cakes tasted delish anyway. Thanks for being a part of my bff's bday celebration!
