2000年の頃、通ったお店。店構えは、変わりましたが、味は変わりません。お味噌汁が美味しい。

If you think Japanese curry is just a quick comfort meal, Curry Bee in Hong Kong will completely change your mind. This place takes something simple and turns it into something unforgettable. From the first bite, the curry is unbelievably rich, silky and full of deep umami flavour — the kind of sauce that clearly takes hours of care and patience to perfect. Every mouthful feels warm, comforting and ridiculously satisfying. The katsu was absolutely spot on: golden, crunchy and juicy inside, pairing perfectly with the thick curry and fluffy rice. Even the little details stood out, from the perfectly balanced seasoning to the presentation that made everything look as good as it tasted. It’s rare to find a place that nails both authenticity and comfort so perfectly. What makes Curry Bee special is that it doesn’t try to be flashy. It simply focuses on making incredible Japanese food, and it does that exceptionally well. The atmosphere is cosy, the staff are welcoming, and the whole experience feels like discovering a hidden gem in the middle of Hong Kong’s endless food scene. Honestly, this was one of the most satisfying meals I had in Hong Kong and easily some of the best Japanese curry I’ve ever eaten. The kind of place you end up recommending to absolutely everyone after your first visit.
