I should say this is one of the worst zi char even eaten, the curry assam fish head one size but cost $38 and come with small portion only. The food portion is very small , seriously not worth it at all. The ladies took our orders kept asking us to add more dishes and in the end some of the dishes out of stock and she miss out one order not serve but was charged. We only realise when we got back home. Will not go there anymore. Beware of the lady took order and make sure all orders are served. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Food is exceptionally good. Fish head has a hint of sourness which amplifies the taste. Every dish is well done including the caipo egg. Overall a very good find in the kovan hougang neighbourhood. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I dropped by Curry & Curry at Hougang Street 21 for a light lunch and was pleasantly surprised by how satisfying the meal turned out. The minced spinach was smooth and comforting, with just the right seasoning to bring out its natural sweetness. The grilled eggplant had a lovely smoky char that paired beautifully with steamed rice, while the sambal kangkong added a punch of spice and fragrance without being overwhelming. What I really appreciate is how these simple vegetable dishes were cooked with care—flavorful, balanced, and not oily, making it a perfect lighter option compared to heavier zi char meals. The staff were warm and attentive, and the homely atmosphere made the experience even better. A great spot in the neighborhood whether you’re here for their famous fish head curry or just a wholesome, fuss-free lunch. Highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
