D'Cuisines (located at the SIA Sports Club on Upper Changi Road East) is a bit of a "hidden gem". Their Indian section is arguably the strongest part of the kitchen. Their Tandoor works overtime, and getting that authentic, slightly charred Tikka alongside fresh Naan is a must for anyone visiting. Since it’s tucked away in the SIA Sports Club, it has a more relaxed, spacious feel. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I placed my order for one Apple Juice and one Orange Juice with the waitress after arrival and while waiting for the rest. The juices did not come after ordering for more than 30 minutes. After checking with the waiter, he then told me that the Apple Juice was out of stock. If I did not check with them, they would have never updated me. Further, the Orange Juice was only served after chasing them for another two rounds. All together, it took them for 40 minutes to serve just for one glass of juices and this was done after chasing them for 3 times. This restaurant is hopefully slow and irresponsible! Price per person: $1–10 Food: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Decided to come back today since I liked it last Dec, despite some of the recent negative reviews. I didn't see any of the issues mentioned—place is old but it was clean and the staff were attentive. My coffee was out in 5 mins. We shared a medium Mutton Briyani (good for 3–5 people). It’s proper dum briyani, not just yellow rice, so you can really taste the spices. Plenty of tender meat and a whole egg. It is very spicy though, so I’d probably ask for less heat next time. Glad I gave it another chance, will be back when I'm in the area.
