A Lady cashier was very rude. I was simply asking for my receipt but she responded in a harsh and dismissive tone, saying, “Receipt ahh, don’t know where it went, haiyooo.” If you RUN A BUSINESS you should not have issue when a customer asked for a receipt, as I paid for my purchase not FREE! Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

It's a brand name that been around for a long time and has often been viewed in a positive light. This experience has raised concerns. The unit is located in an older estate. The staff, mainly a Chinese lady who does not seem local, based of her accent and her insistence to communicate in Mandarin in spite of many speaking to her in English. An elderly Chinese uncle was in line behind me, waiting to pay. He's easily in his seventies or eighties, and just wants to buy a swiss roll. She raised her voice at him and mentioned in Chinese, what appears to be 'can you wait, can't you see I'm busy'. The elderly uncle simply kept mum, seemingly embarrassed by this. The cashier appeared highly agitated and flustered. It was extremely upsetting to observe this, and I felt sorry for the elderly uncle. Do better DJ Bakery. You've been a staple in our local communities and your goods are well baked, sold at fair prices. No amount of food quality and ambience in your bakery can make up for such services. A customer should never been embarrassed for seeking clarification, moreso an elderly individual. I hope this will be addressed by your management.
