I finally tried the ice cream at Dopa! My friend was really craving it after lunch, so we headed over. It’s a tiny little shop with brick seating, which isn’t the most comfortable. There are a couple of tables outside that can seat about 6 to 8 people, but it’s a bit noisy because the ventilation from the restaurant opposite is blowing right towards the outdoor seating of this ice cream parlor. This place is really famous for its authentic gelato, which is served in silver canisters so you can’t see the flavors inside. But the service is great—friendly young ladies will open the canisters for you if you ask, so you can check if you like the flavors. I’m not a big fan of nuts, and Dopa is mainly a nut-based gelato shop. But they have one amazing flavor: strawberry honey, which is super popular. I ordered that one, and I shared a waffle with my friend. He got another flavor (I forgot what it’s called), but it was definitely nut-based. Strawberry honey isn’t always available, so if you see it, you have to try it. We even got the last pint to take away! They also have a restroom in the shop. I got one scoop in a cup and two scoops on the waffle. It cost me about 26 SGD, so it’s definitely on the pricier side, but worth trying at least once. There are lots of cafes, Korean shops, and ice cream parlors around this area, so it’s a nice spot to hang out and chill. This place is usually always packed, so I was surprised we still got seats when I went today!

Pretty nice gelato. Tried the Pistachio Kunafa (premium) and the Tiramisu. Pistachio Kunafa flavour was nice, quite rich pistachio taste, and the kunafa bits were crunchy and adding nice texture to the gelato. Tiramisu flavour was nice too, the espresso soaked lady finger bits were adding a good flavour combination and texture to the gelato. However the gelato melts quite fast. Serving portion quite little for the price, compared with other gelato shops. Can use CDC voucher.

had a coffee meeting here, though i opted for an iced chocolate instead which was really good! nice vibes, friendly and prompt service too. will definitely he back to tey their other items!
