For a first timer, I got scold by one of the staff there. As I ordered take away Pratas, they pre-prepared fish curry 2 packets for me. When they hand to me, I asked for Dhal as kids eating but he asked why didn’t mention earlier and fish curry is their “default”. As what I know, most of the pratas shop I went they will ask once the order is pack and only ask the curry/sauce needed. And observed an old Chinese couple was slight struggling to order as they have language barrier, the staff was impatient and kept asking them to walk to the photo and see what they actually want. After they ordered, can heard from kitchen while staff preparing saying “so troublesome this old people”. I think Rubinah needs to train staff to be more patience and not to be rude. Notice the shop was not in a full house or busy time. 1 staff cashier, 1 staff making drinks and 1 staff doing the cooking. Food is ok, but staff has attitude. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

In passing, D'Rubinah is a modest-looking establishment. However, I was really surprised to see that they offer a lunchtime buffet on Mondays and Thursdays for just $8.50. Two types of rice, mutton, chicken, fish, prawns, veggies... with mildly citrus cold water. This was really worth it! Totally recommend this eatery! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: Yes, I have also had their egg and masala thosais.
