Dada & Bang Ran Restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants in Phuket. It is a "simple" but excellent little Thai restaurant on the roadside. Halal food is offered here. There are only a few tables but the food here tastes great! It is a family-run restaurant and the welcome and treatment is incredibly friendly. You simply feel at home here. It has the typical Thai flair of an authentic, local restaurant. The food is cooked right in the open kitchen next to the tables and the women are super nice. The menu has two pages (one with noodle dishes such as Pad Thai, stir fried instand noodles, etc), the other page consists of dishes with rice such as stir fried chicken cashews, pad kra pao, omelette with rice and other Thai dishes. You can choose between chicken, vegetables or seafood. But I have to mention that every dish can be prepared completely vegan on request! And it's reliable. I come here almost every day with my husband (sometimes even twice a day) and the food is always very good! I especially love the vegan version of the "pad pak med Mamuang" and the vegan Pad Thai. But as I said, everything here tastes great. And all at a reasonable price and in a friendly, homely, feel-good environment. I can only recommend this small, charming restaurant!
