A waiter staff by the name of Chua Wai Khang slammed the hot grill pan on my table in anger when we requested for a change of grill pan. What happened was that I merely just raised my hands for a request to change the grill pan. I did not even utter or speak a single word of request to him. All of a sudden he appeared and he bang the hot grill pan angrily on the table with a loud noise and a tinge of hot oil hit onto my face. The other 2 diners sitting next to me witnessed this incident and were very shocked.
What is frustrating is that we pay to come into this restaurant and we were being treated like beggars. Its not like we didnt pay for the dinner or we owe him hundreds of thousands of dollars. He created a terrible experience at the restaurant. We felt severely bullied. Not only that, his angry behavior can potentially cause injury and harm to other customers.
I will urge the management to look into training your staff to be able to handle stress at work and not lash out their personal anger onto the customers. The only reason why you can continue to have business is because you have customers patronising your stall.
Even though my money was refunded, we will never come and dine at this restaurant again.
