We had a lovely family dinner (6 pax) at Daisy's Dream Kitchen at Temasek Club, a place known for its solid Peranakan and local delights. We ordered quite a spread, and while the food was consistently very good, a couple of dishes truly shone. The absolute standouts of the night were the Ngoh Hiang and the Buah Keluak Fried Rice. The Ngoh Hiang (which came as unique, plump balls rather than the usual rolls) was packed with flavour and texture. The Buah Keluak Fried Rice was incredibly aromatic, with that distinctive earthy, savoury taste infused into every grain – a definite must-try. We also ordered the Assam Batang Slice, Beef Rendang, Babi Buah Keluak, Kueh Pie Tee, Otah Otah, and the 3 Wise Men (a stir-fry of lady's finger, brinjal, and petai with ikan bilis). Every single dish was well-executed and tasty. The fish was fresh, the rendang tender, and the sambal vegetables had a nice kick. We finished off with a refreshing bowl of Chendol, which was the perfect sweet ending. Overall, while not every dish was "exceptional," the standard was consistently high across the board. It's a very reliable spot for a comforting and satisfying Peranakan meal with the family. A solid 4 stars! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
