I visited Daon Fusion Korean Restaurant in Sin-yong-dong, Gwangju, and had a wonderful meal. We ordered the Tteokgalbi set and Boribulgogi set, and the table was filled with a generous variety of delicious dishes. There were soy-marinated crab, abalone, Korean pancakes, kimchi, and many other side dishes. My favorite was definitely the shrimp tteokgalbi! The tender meat combined with the savory flavor of shrimp was absolutely delicious. The borigulbi was also great with rice and had a rich, savory flavor. The meal was finished with sweet plum tea and a traditional barley snack, which was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a traditional Korean set meal in the Gwangju Cheomdan area, especially for a family meal or dining with parents.
