Dear Coffee & Bakery has been around the Tai Wai area for a few years. They have now moved from their original shop to a place on the inner lane of the Carado Garden Shopping Arcade off Tin Sam Street. It is around 6-7 minute walk south and west of the MTR Station. Opening hours are presently 10am to 6pm. The interior seating area is much larger than their original place, probably enough space for 20-24 people now. The crew here work hard serving up coffee drinks and a range of bagel and bread based light bites which are reasonably priced and pretty good. I recently had lunch at Dear Coffee & Bakery and enjoyed the fresh basil hot dog w/ Thai style minced pork and a bit of cheese instead of the traditional wiener. The basil didn't stand out much but there was a nice addition of lettuce. The bread is soft with really nice texture. Overall, this was pretty good. Iced-mocha served was ok as well. Overall, Dear Coffee & Bakery is a neat place to try if you find yourself in this area of Tai Wai.
