Restaurant used to be good before it turned into a Thai restaurant the Hainan chicken I had was served piping hot and so dry and rubbery. For 100hkd there are much better choices for Thai food in central. Restaurant is mostly empty for good reason, avoid.

"Desired" Meal in LKF Wrapping up a typical busy day of Central business life, what’s better than pampering ourselves with a few tapas and having a good nice chat over a glass of wine? Desire Restaurant & Bar was where we headed to. Located conveniently in LKF, the establishment had a lot to offer. After being seated by a very friendly staff, we immediately found ourselves in a relaxing mood as a pot of warm, floral chamomile tea was served. Fresh oysters were presented, they went absolutely well with a glass of chilled French viognier and Cucumber Saketini, the bartender’s special! While we were enjoying the unusual quiet view of LKF through the window panels, tapas arrived our table one after another. On the left we had palatas bravas, on the right there was red hot chorizo al vino tinto. Just when we were undecided which one to begin with, the manager gently poured us a glass of cabernet sauvignon he had recommended to go with our food. Procini & morels mushroom paella and foie gras were the mains we ordered. We loved the presentation very much, tasted great, too! The menu also features some tempting pairing of Japanese sake with their in-house dishes, which we may return and check out next time! Dessert of the day was cheesecake which we loved to serve with another cup of chamomile tea. After all the dinner was quite palate-pleasing, and as we called the night off, we were walked to elevator by the same friendly staff, the hospitality there is exactly what we as customers most desire.
