Went to Din Tai Fung @ Raffles City for a weekend lunch with my family. It’s been a while since I last visited any of their outlets, and unfortunately, the food quality has noticeably deteriorated. The noodles were soft and overcooked, lacking the texture and springiness I used to enjoy. The pork chop was dry and stiff. Not the juicy and flavourful standard they once had. With so many other dining options offering similar cuisine at better quality, it’s hard to justify coming back. Sadly, this visit didn’t live up to the Din Tai Fung reputation I remembered. It’s probably still a good option for tourists to have a taste of Chinese food from this chain that originated from Taiwan, but not for locals. We’re spoiled for choice here in Singapore! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options on the menu.
