We walked past Dino Park and stopped in a Flintstones inspired open air restaurant between Karon and Kata beaches, complete with dinosaur statues, volcanic eruptions, waterfalls, and multi level jungle paths. The theming is what gets you through the door, and on that front it delivers something genuinely different. Unfortunately, the food did not come close to matching the atmosphere. Both the quality and the execution landed well below what you would hope for, leaning more towards disappointing than average. The service, similarly, left room for improvement a little more warmth and attentiveness would go a long way in a place that clearly draws a lot of foot traffic. It is a shame, because the concept has real potential. With some genuine investment in the kitchen and a lift in the service experience, Dino Park could be a genuinely memorable stop rather than just a visually interesting one. Worth a walk through to take in the scenery, perhaps just eat somewhere else first. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿1–200

One of my favourite places to eat, such a great atmosphere. Feels like Jurassic Park. The kids will love this place. Plenty of seating available, the bathrooms are immaculate and themed. The food is delicious and presented well. I always visit here when I come to Thailand for the nostalgia. Highly recommend. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿600–800 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
