The counter staff, Chee Choong is impatient and crude with his comments. Why can’t customer take time to order especially when there’s so many steps to ordering? To note, the store was empty during non peak timing. Instead of saying “you want set or ala carte” he says “you must tell me you want set or ala carte. If not, I don’t know what you want”. I’m not expecting 5 star service, just be cordial with your customers. Buck up! Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

It was my first time patronising this stall, and I was not familiar with the ordering process. Unfortunately, the uncle at the counter (cashier) was extremely rude and impatient. Instead of guiding me politely, he lectured me on how to place my order and even commented that ordering here is no different from McDonald’s or KFC. He kept telling me to continue ordering because he was “listening”, even though he was not keying anything into the POS system and was busy packing orders. When I continued, he then told me to stop and wait one item at a time. The instructions were confusing and inconsistent. After everything was finally keyed into the POS, he asked for the payment method. I told him I would scan the QR using the ezlink/SimplyGo app, which is clearly stated on the logo displayed. However, he insisted there was no ezlink payment and continued lecturing me. I had to explain that since I was able to scan the QR code using the app, it clearly meant Dip n Go is one of the supported merchants. To make matters worse, the shop’s mobile reception was extremely poor. I had to walk in and out of the shop repeatedly just to get a signal to attempt payment. In the end, the transaction could not go through due to connectivity issues, and I had to switch to PayWave instead. Throughout this process, the uncle kept rushing and pressuring me to make payment, even though there were no other customers waiting. He claimed that if the payment did not go through, he would be unable to key in other orders and that the kitchen had already started preparing my food. This is hard to accept, as any basic POS system should allow an order to be put on hold while another order is keyed in. Please train your staff to have better etiquette, basic manners, and proper knowledge of the POS system. Customers should not be treated as if they are ignorant or troublesome for asking questions or using available payment options. Additionally, I observed a kitchen staff member (a larger-sized lady) pulling the side of her bra near her armpit while handling food. This was extremely unhygienic and unacceptable. Please address hygiene standards seriously. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

Very bad service uncle. Requested for more cheese and dont mind paying extra if need but he insist that the cost is high. Quite disappointed. Wanted to give it a try as it used to be a childhood fav store. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner
