Ig: gan_ngo_wan_sik Enter the Kwun Tong Industrial Building, a hidden authentic Taiwanese restaurant Today after work in Kwun Tong, I went to Doctor Beans in Fu Lee Industrial Building to eat Taiwanese food with my friends. The restaurant has a huge entrance area, the seats are wide and the walls are covered with murals of different tourist spots in Taiwan. Many familiar Taiwanese songs are playing in the background. We ordered the hearty beef and tomato noodle soup set, the sesame oil chicken and rice set, both called Fengjia Salty Crispy Chicken. The portions of the beef and tomato soup noodles are quite large, and several pieces of beef tendon are cooked until they are very juicy and delicious. There are also flower balls, pork balls, braised eggs and a bunch of carrots. The bowl of beef noodles has a Taiwanese flavor, and it is added to the meal. $38 for the freshly squeezed Lemon Coconut Duoduo Jelly, Yakult noodles with lemon, coconut and chia seeds, sour, sweet and appetizing. Another sesame oil chicken set is really recommended for everyone to try. The sesame oil chicken soup is served in an iron pot, which can maintain the temperature and prevent the chicken oil in the chicken soup from solidifying on the surface. After the first drink, I was pleasantly surprised. The soup tastes good. Rich and satisfying, the meat of the three large pieces of chicken is tender and smooth. The soup residue contains sliced ginger, candied dates and mushrooms. The set meal comes with a large plate of vegetables and a bowl of braised pork rice. The braised pork rice is topped with a lot of meat floss and mushrooms. Pickled cucumber is really filling for one person. I also paid extra for a cup of pearl milk tea. The tea is rich in flavor and the pearls are smoky. You can enjoy the full flavor of Taiwan even if you don’t have to travel to Taiwan!
