I’ve been here twice over the past two days while holidaying in Kata Beach. The coffee is strong and good, and the service is great. Yesterday, the same kind young staff member served me. As I was leaving, I accidentally knocked over a glass sugar holder. I felt terrible, apologized, and helped move furniture so she could clean it up. However, as I was leaving, she told me I had to pay 45 baht for it. I paid, but it felt like a poor last-minute decision—it made me feel embarrassed in front of other customers and cost them a returning customer.
