Hidden along Ubi near the industrial estate, Don Kwan’s Kitchen is a true hidden gem. The nasi lemak is outstandingfragrant, fluffy rice with a rich coconutty flavour that really stands out. Easily one of the best nasi lemak I’ve had in Singapore. Portions are generous, especially the sambal, which is bold and satisfying. Can’t wait to return and try their other dishes. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Chance upon this hidden gem after visiting Trapo. Regret not finding this place earlier because its final day is on 12 Feb 26. Asam pedas and Rendang is delicious. All the best to the stall owner! Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
