If you’re looking for a peaceful, nourishing meal in Gwangju, Sujata (수자타) is one of those places that stays with you long after you leave. It’s a simple temple ~ food buffet ,no meat, no animal products ~ just clean, honest flavors that make you slow down and appreciate every bite. For 8,000 won per person, you get access to a surprising variety of dishes, all prepared with that quiet confidence temple cuisine is known for. Nothing is flashy here, but the balance of flavors is beautiful ,gentle, comforting, and somehow deeply satisfying. It’s the kind of food that feels good for both body and mind. They also sell freshly made side dishes you can take home, so you can bring a bit of that calm, earthy taste back to your own kitchen.
