The cafe itself actually looks quite nice with a genuinely cool art decoration style which is a real shame, because you’ll probably spend your entire visit wishing you were anywhere else. My partner and I walked in holding an old, totally melted to-go coffee cup with about an inch of sad liquid left at the bottom, purely looking for a trash can to dispose of it. Before we could even breathe, an employee swooped in to deliver a brilliantly passive-aggressive warning: "You are not allowed to bring drinks from outside in our cafe.". Not technically rude, but executed with all the warmth and charm of a TSA checkpoint. We originally planned to sit down and order fresh drinks, but after receiving such a stellar greeting, we decided to reward their top-tier customer relations by ordering the bare minimum,one single cup, just so we could legally sit and wait to leave. As a lovely bonus while we waited for our coffee, the staff put on a live, high-volume comedy and gossip show, shouting back and forth at the counter to each other. Nothing says "relaxing cafe ambiance" quite like trying to have a conversation over baristas competing to see who can scream the loudest. When the coffee finally arrived, it was completely so-so, perfectly matching the underwhelming experience. Five stars for interior design, minus five stars for basic social awareness.
