Doodle Izakaya Bangna: A Promising New Spot with Great Vibes! My wife and I stopped by Doodle Izakaya Bangna tonight, their opening day, for some drinks and snacks, and we're happy to report it's a promising new addition to the neighborhood! First off, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. We really appreciated that they proactively noticed us having a problem with a wobbly table and immediately jumped in to help, even before we could ask. While it wasn't fully fixed, their genuine effort and dedication to solving it really stood out – it's the thought that counts! Now, onto the food! We were seriously impressed by several dishes. The Ankimo toast pate was a standout, not only for its delicious taste but also for its beautiful presentation. The Ika somen was another winner, wonderfully fresh and flavorful. We also enjoyed the En kor gai spicy (เอ็นข้อไก่ทอดรสเผ็ด). However, the real star of the night was the Tonkotsu carbonara chashu – absolutely one of the best dishes we had, and a must-try! The Snowy truffle toast was also a hit; we loved it. The Tako wasabi was interesting and different from what we're used to, but still good. While many dishes shined, there's definitely room for improvement on the Yakitori menu and the Yukke. For example, the Teba yaki could have used more crispiness. We think with a few tweaks, these items could be just as impressive as the others. Overall, the vibe of the place is fantastic, creating a really enjoyable atmosphere for a night out. Despite a few minor areas for improvement, we're giving Doodle Izakaya Bangna a solid 4 out of 5 stars and look forward to seeing them refine their menu even further. We'll definitely be back!
