The food and service was good but they are not too honest. I ordered sea bream for me and it was massive and enough for 3 people. Cost of 100k for single fish alone. Price per person: ₩100,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My 4th time in Noryangjin and 2nd one in this trip. So I believe my review will carry some weight here... I shall start with 3 days ago when I was literally REALLY scammed into a more expensive stall for cooking... It's not what the other reviewers said about this shop (as their pricing are all "accurate" to some extend and I shall share more later) but instead it's almost double of this shop! The Chinese woman selling us the crabs and seafood said she will get someone to bring us to a cheap and good stall for cooking (everyone do take note of this as the seafood seller and the restaurant cooking are usually linked) but stir fry was 25k, steaming was 15k, fried rice with the shell was 6k each. All these prices are closed to double of the normal ones, including Dragon Palace here. Anyway I left that scammed place and went to another I chose. Everything looks normal, incl the pricing but we still managed to be scammed at the end when they charge us 3kg for steaming the crab when ours was only 1.7kg. And the soup too... Regardless of how much seafood we brought up to put into the soup, they charge by per pax .. and it seems to be the same for every stall (take note of this too). So now on my 2nd time here in this trip TODAY... I became smarter with my seafood selection but still got led to Dragon Palace... Which turns out to be ALOT better than the earlier ones. The pricing are all transparent and shown in my pics although Koreans probably will get a different pricing, which we have to accept that. The soup was not much to shout at, but with the medley of clams, scallops and flower crab (this is important), it tasted really well this time! Still it's 20k for 4 pax... The squid were well steamed just nice .. the grilled scallops were perfect so were the abalones. Of course we have the King crab and this time we bought a better one (apparently at 95k per kg) at a different stall and it's soooooo good! That said, we still have to pay 10k for CUTTING the crabs, which again is the standard in Noryangjin. Keypoint is .. if the seafood is good and REALLY fresh, then it's not easy for the cook to "f" it up. My meal at this restaurant including the final bill (everything was well accounted for) was a 8.5-9 out of 10. Whereas the one 3 days ago only got a 6 5 at best. So I do recommend Dragon palace ..but please please understand and compare if you need .. as most other restaurants charge the same pricing. I told them I will be back...and infact will recommend more friends to go there too. If U need, U can also buy your seafood from stall 27 (see namecards) below and USE MY PICTURE (pls don't use for other reasons), saying U are my friend! I believe they should give a decent price with good seafood! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₩50,000–60,000 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Disappointing Experience at Dragon Palace in Noryangin Market I recently visited Dragon Palace in Noryangin Market with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience did not live up to the hype. The biggest issue was the food. The quality was far below what I expected for the price. I ordered the seafood below, and it was overcooked, underseasoned, or anything else. For the price I paid, I expected something far more flavorful and fresh, especially considering the market's reputation for great seafood. The pricing was ridiculously and different from the menu. It was unscrupulous!! A pot of soup made of bean sprout, radish and raw vegetable was 150,000 Korean Won. The service was also lackluster. The staff were inattentive or slow? The small crab as small as my palm was 200,000 Korean won which was different from the menu. Lastly, I felt the atmosphere was not as welcoming or clean as I had hoped. The space felt a bit cramped and noisy, and the tables didn’t seem as well-maintained as other places nearby. This review is to warn any tourist of this place. There are many other restaurants in Noryangin Market offering better quality and service for a similar price Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
