Christmas in September? Why not?! The Christmas decor is actually what drew us to Duplit for breakfast, and I’m so glad we came. It’s cozy and homey, and with the Christmas music playing in the background, it’s pretty hard not to be in a good mood. Now, the food and drinks! I like a savory breakfast, while my husband always goes for something sweet. He got the French toast, and it was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before—in the best way. It has more of an egg-based texture than your typical French toast, but I loved it. It also comes with fresh milk cream, which perfectly balances the sweetness and warmth of the French toast. I got the pizza toast, and the crust/bread was baked to perfection. So simple, but SO good. For drinks, I ordered their signature iced Black Vanilla. I honestly have no idea what I was drinking, but it was SO good. My husband got the hazelnut latte, and he described it as “a warm hug in a cup.” Very fitting for the whole vibe of this cafe! Overall, we loved Duplit. Such a cute and unique cafe in Busan, and honestly, a little piece of home while we’re traveling all the way from the US.
