2号線ソチョ駅から徒歩すぐのニューオープンカフェに行ってきました！ 韓国的なコンセプトに加え、光と闇、それから水のインテリアですごくお洒落な空間と平凡じゃないかなりスペシャリティーなスイーツとドリンク類を楽しめます。 値段はちょっと高めだけど、一度行ってみる価値はあるかも！. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ₩20,000–30,000 Recommended dishes: 해치의신수림

The most impressive cafe in Seoul! Ordered the iced black sesame latte and a sable sand and they were very good! Service was friendly and helpful. Price was fair. The whole experience in the basement was priceless. Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

One thing you will notice when visiting Korea is that there a LOT of cafes. So much so that it is easy to feel bombarded with all your choices. Eero Cafe is one of my favorite spots. The cafe is split between two floors. On the first floor, you can order drinks and desserts. I ordered their seasonal-themed winter mousse cake, which had a strawberry filling and rice cracker crust. The bitterness of the iced latte pairs quite well with the sweetness of the dessert. On the second floor, you can find more seats and a rainfall installation in the center and to the side. The sound of the rain is quite therapeutic, even amidst the sound of people chattering. There is also a small exhibit called the “Karma Mirror room you can enter for a unique auditory and visual experience. Even the restrooms, with its heavy doors, follow a unique theme, with its mirror tiles. If you take a look around the cafe, you will notice the recurring theme of a mythical lion-like beast, known as the Korean haetae (or haechi). This creature is seen as a guardian in Korea - judging good from evil and acting as a protector against disasters. You can also see haetae at important sites like the Gyeongbok-gung Palace. While it is located a bit to the side of central Seoul, one of the reasons why I like Eero so much is their attention to detail and multi-sensory experience.
