This place feels like my second home, truly. :) The food is always comforting, full of flavor, and made with care. What makes it truly special, though, is the warmth of the staff. They don’t just serve; they remember. Great food like other reviews mention but I can not get over the atmosphere. If you want loud and dark eat inside. Of you want lung fulls of cigarette smoke eat or drink outside. If you're not looking for any of the above go elsewhere. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Hey Peter. Thank you for the positive reviews on our food. In regards to the indoors, it is a bar with music playing, people talking and playing pool. It’s not always loud and noisy. You just need one or two louder individuals and it is something beyond our control. As for the outdoor area, we do have a designated smoking area. Just request for a table in the non smoking area.

I love my whiskeys & I love my beers. And I love this place. The ambience, music, vibe, entertainment of this local neighbourhood bar hits pretty much on point with the community. Where you can watch & cheer for your favourite EPL team although there are a couple of Liverpool banners about. Where you can have a game of pool with the resident pool sharks. Where you can nurse a beer in a quiet corner by the bar or have a full on banter with the diverse peeps. Where you you can work-from-bar in the daylight and continue on to the happy hours by the evening. Where the service staff remembers your name and can name your poison. Where your 4 legged friend are also welcomed. So yeah, a recent review irked me enough to write. Sounds like that dude wanted a quiet, brightly-lit, non-smoky place. Sounds like a library eh? Keep at it EMOs, you know you're loved. A neighbourhood pub crawler.
