The dining options in non-touristy, provincial Thailand have improved a lot compared to 20+ years ago. In the past, you were out of luck if you wanted something other than rice or noodles. This place is good for breakfast or lunch. They offer eggs Benedict, panani bread sandwiches, pastas, salads, steak, etc, and they also have a good selection of Thai food. I had some Western food, while my wife and son ate Thai food. Everything was very satisfactory and the price was very reasonable. We had lunch the first day and then returned for breakfast on the second day because the hotel breakfast wasn't up to much. This restaurant also appears to be dog friendly if you have a canine companion. Happy to recommend. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Such a hidden gem in a town like Trang! The food, drinks, and ambience at Early Bird & Night Owl make it a must-visit spot. I ordered the Sunshine Breakfast, Ham & Cheese Croissant, and Baked Eggs with Spinach, along with a Matcha Latte, Americano, and Café Latte. For dessert, I had Sago with Coconut Milk, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Baked Eggs with Spinach stood out the most—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The Matcha Latte was smooth and well-balanced, while the Sago with Coconut Milk was fresh and comforting. On top of that, the cozy atmosphere made the whole experience even better.
