元旦の午前中、芝生の庭園で日向ぼっこをしました。日が昇って間もない時間帯は、長袖シャツでちょうどいい気温。日差しを浴びるとぽかぽかと暖かく、空気も乾いているので汗ばむこともありません。チェンマイの1月は、屋外でのんびり過ごすのに本当にちょうどいい気候だと思います。 レモンライムのコーヒーカクテルを注文しましたが、これはホットでも美味しかっただろうなという味わい。バナナパンケーキも甘すぎず、安心感のある美味しさでした。 敷地はゆるやかな傾斜地になっていて、低い位置には池があります。どこかお金持ちの邸宅跡をカフェに改装したような佇まいで、優雅な貴族の暮らしを垣間見るような雰囲気。昔、品川にあった原美術館の小さな庭園とカフェを思い出しました。 旧市街とはまた違ったチェンマイの一面を感じられる、まさに“大人の休日”にふさわしい場所です。. We stopped by Early Owls Café in Chiang Mai for a relaxing break, and it turned out to be one of those places that quietly wins you over. The café has a warm, peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to slow down and enjoy the moment. The highlight for us was definitely the matcha latte—rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. You can tell they care about the quality of their ingredients and take pride in every cup they serve. One of the best surprises was the beautiful outdoor space. The café features a huge garden surrounding a peaceful pond, creating a tranquil setting that’s perfect for enjoying a drink, taking a leisurely stroll, or simply sitting back and soaking in nature. If you’re looking for a cozy café with excellent matcha, beautiful scenery, and a relaxing atmosphere away from the city’s hustle, Early Owls Café is absolutely worth a visit.
