A very cosy place to spend time with your furry companion, and it generally has fewer crowds, even on weekends. We chances upon this place while looking for dinner options and ended up having an early meal. I personally opted for the dinner set that includes an appetiser, main, and dessert. The overall presentation of the food was satisfactory. Nothing particularly stood out, but it served what was described on the menu. I only wish the Burrata had not been cut before arriving at our table. If it had been left intact. The portion feels more generous for the price paid, and the taste was quite decent. One of my friends, who ordered the chicken, found some redness in the meat, but she is not a big eater, so she was okay with just having a small amount. what can i say except ORDER THE RED SNAPPER & Couscous!!! absolutely delish. sauce is everything. the use homegrown potatoes and make their own honey comb. we also got sourdough waffles n scallop corn pasta. every dish was flavourful Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I visited East Coast Commune this morning at around 9:40am and left extremely disappointed. The café was very quiet. There was no one serving outside, so I walked in to place my order. The person at the cashier was busy attending to another family, so I moved slightly further in when I saw the usual friendly server I’m familiar with a few tables away. I didn’t want to walk all the way in as I was wearing cycling shoes with cleats, so I simply said, “Can I order some coffee please?” Almost immediately, another server — who was attending to a different family — turned to me and said, “Please do not shout.” That comment was unnecessary and impolite. I did not shout. The café was quiet and I spoke in a normal tone, just loud enough to be heard across a few tables. Being spoken to in that manner was disrespectful and uncalled for. I urge the owner to review the CCTV footage around 9:37am to assess the situation objectively. My cycling buddies and I have been regular weekly patrons and we have always enjoyed coming here. We are especially pleased with the other server we’re familiar with, who has consistently been warm and welcoming. However, if this particular staff member continues to work there and treats customers this way, we will not be returning. There are other cafés nearby that value regular customers and understand that basic courtesy matters. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
