Do not for a second, fall for the “happy hour”. They advertise the happy hour in the elevators in the Valia Hotel- 888 Baht for all you can drink and eat canapés. The drinks are great. The canapés are barely edible, just not good at all. For 888 Baht- you can get a really good meal in a high-end restaurant. The drinks are good and reasonable. We went for happy hour on a Friday and the place was pretty much dead. Service was good and the people that worked in the bar were very nice. They really need to rethink their food selection in the bar, and perhaps the price. There were several people that came in, sat down, and left after their first serving of canapés and drinks.
