We ordered smashed burger, grilled chicken, fish and chips. Even though fish and chips was not under "chef recommendation", I was in for a surprise. Would prefer more crispy batter, but the fresh and well seasoned fish make up for the batter. They used Halibut fish, adds to its great texture. For the first time, I don't need an extra serving of tartar sauce to finish my fish and chips meal. The French fries were very crispy and come in a reasonable portion. The food portion were huge as per photo. There was no service charge to our meal so we spent less than $60 for a great dinner! Definitely coming back again. A gem at the Eastside ! Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

If I were to describe our experience at Eastside Golden Grill in one word, it would be “heart”. No effort was spared in preparing and cooking each component of the dish, from the tender steak with a delicious steak butter, to the meticulously prepared, buttery mashed potatoes and nicely charred grilled veggies. The chef could also bring out the natural sweetness of our pumpkin soup, making for a delicious and well rounded lunch. The price was also extremely reasonable, especially the lunch set. We had the chicken chop, ribeye steak, and the sirloin steak. We’ll be back to try their cod fish and pork chop! Thank you for the delicious meal that’s cooked with heart!
