I popped in for a drink and stayed for 3, the next night I returned, the greeter welcomed me ‘back’, two bartenders recalled my order, which for a busy restaurant/bar I think is pretty great! Great quality, exceptional, friendly service!

There really is no other restaurant I know that comes close to the full Eat Me experience. From a passionfruit margarita at the bar, to the gentle chat with friendly staff, to dinner at a favourite table, everything falls into place. The food is simply superb. Fresh ingredients, great flavours, good portions, clever combination. The wine list stretches way beyond my price point, but even at the shallow end there are good Italians and Australians. it's safe to order a second bottle. The duck confit is a classic. The lamb. Oysters when available. And desserts, the pistachio vanilla ice cream and, of course, the sticky toffee pudding that defined a generation. Perfect setting for any celebration...lucky you if you get to go more often.
