I buy a lot of deep fried snacks and I ask for some fried dry chili , they told me cannot packet dry chili . If I want chili go and take the cut chili . I am eating fried stuff why would I want those cut chili which is meant for noodle ? Totally ridiculous. Food: 5

Very disappointed with whoever in charge of this branch. When you are selling food, you got to make sure all your needed raw ingredients are in. Laska and Satay Bee hoon are supposed to have HUMs. Was shocked when the cashier told me, hums are not here yet. Another interesting encounter was, Satay Bee Hoon served in "bowl"??? Too disappointed until no mood to take picture. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Brunch

E.A.T. was first launched around 2006 by Fei Siong Group, with its early outlet at Railway Mall. Back then, it was one of our go-to spots — especially for the bak chor mee, satay bee hoon, and laksa. The flavours were rich, comforting, and consistent. However, as the brand expanded rapidly across Singapore, the standards seemed to have dropped. I recently visited the outlet at Northpoint Kopitiam, and unfortunately, the experience wasn’t great. The laksa gravy was very little and tasted like it had been sitting for some time. The overall dish lacked the richness and freshness it once had. As for the ambience — I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. In general, the taste has noticeably declined compared to what it was back in 2006. This seems to be a common issue across multiple outlets. Scaling up is never easy, and maintaining consistency with larger operations and manpower can be quite a challenge. E.A.T. – From Favourite to Disappointment! To make matters worse, I felt quite bloated after the meal — had to go home and apply some Yu Yee Oil. Hope they can improve and bring back the original standard. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
