オーダーを受けてからエビを焼き始めますので提供まで5分くらい掛かりました。大きなエビが2つとチャーシュー4枚にもやしが入っています。麺は白っぽい中華麺かな？あまりコシは強くありません。スープはエビの香りもよくシンガポールのローカルにしては塩分も控えめで美味しい。エビも大きくて食べ応えあり、ビニール手袋の提供も気が利いています。総合的にシンガポールで食べたプラウンヌードルではかなり上位に来ます。でもやっぱりベナンのプラウンヌードル(ホッケンミー)が美味しいと実感。麺料理は全体としてもマレーシアの方がシンガポールよりもレベル高いですね。あくまで私の個人的な感想ですが…

We went around 7PM in the evening a month or so ago, service was warm and the food was phenomenal! It's tucked away further into the mall than the usual popular spots near the entrance! The prawns were charred for that smoky flavour, and incredibly soft. Noodles were QQ and chewy but the broth was a standout! The piping hot broth had this umami prawn flavour that I haven't tasted since Prawnaholics closed down in Pasir Ris, and their presentation in this cute little dim sum inspired plating was a plus! It's a quiet spot to chat with friends though the aircon isn't as cold as I'd hoped, but for a dinner spot in Somerset it's a solid choice :•) Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tried Ebi Bar and had a pretty mixed experience overall. The Hokkien mee was underwhelming — it tasted quite average and lacked the depth and richness you’d expect from a good plate. The kou shui chicken was also disappointing. There was very little chicken, and the flavour didn’t really resemble the dish, so it didn’t hit the mark for me. On the brighter side, the signature prawn noodles were good. The broth was flavourful and the prawns were fresh, which made it much more enjoyable. Overall, a bit hit-or-miss. I might come back for the prawn noodles, but the other dishes could definitely use some improvement. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
