One of the best sea-side accommodations ever, not just in Thailand. We stayed for almost two weeks and everything was perfect, from the comfortable and clean rooms to the pool and the amazing restaurant. Our host, Natalia, was very attentive, gave us useful tips and was always available for any kind of enquiries. Also the rest of the staff is super friendly and professional. Breakfast is very diverse and truly delicious, and so is everything from the restaurant menu, so we decided to dine-in almost every day there. We chose not to rent a scooter as we don't really have experience driving one, but it worked out just fine by taxi + the shuttle provided for free once per day. All in all, every accommodation should be like this. Thanks for the great stay! Service: 5

Book. This. Place. View: insane, cocktails: incredible, food: unmatched (best panang curry in all of Thailand) Paula: amazing. The world needs more Paula’s in it. All the other staff also does everything to make your stay unforgettable. Koh Tao was really crowded because of high season but you don’t feel any of that chaos at Ecotao. Of course you need to rent a motorbike, but that’s no reason to give this less stars. Also; no kids! The place is designed for adults. I’d give 10 stars if I could! Go, book, enjoy!!! Jealous of everyone that’s still having this to come. Service: 5

We had a wonderful stay at Ecotao Lodge and truly enjoyed the stunning location. The infinity pool is amazing, with breathtaking views over the jungle — absolutely wow! The wooden rooms in traditional Thai style fit perfectly with the surroundings and offer a spectacular view. The food was very good, and the happy hours were a nice bonus with great prices. Relaxing by the pool while watching the jungle was a highlight of our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting us with scooter rentals and arranging taxis whenever needed. One small tip for future guests: the air conditioning in the room was quite weak, so it stayed fairly warm, especially at night. Aside from that, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Ecotao Lodge to anyone looking for a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Service: 5
