Was so pleasantly surprised to find fresh handmade pasta at a hawker concept! Eightisfy Western, located inside Maddox Canteen & Bar, is truly a hidden gem in the industrial area. The chef is currently offering handmade pastas for a limited time alongside his usual western dishes, and you can actually watch the pasta being freshly prepared. It does take a little time, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. We ordered the Fettuccine Pistachio Pesto and Truffle Gnocchi. The pistachio pesto was rich, nutty, and very well balanced; the pistachio flavour really stood out without being overpowering. The truffle gnocchi was our favourite. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside (it reminded us of 算盤子!), and coated in a creamy truffle sauce that tied everything together beautifully. What really made the experience special was the chef himself. When my girl got bitten by mosquitoes while we were waiting, he kindly passed us mosquito repellent Such a thoughtful and genuine gesture that made our day. If you’re coming for the handmade pasta, do come earlier and be prepared to wait a little. Great comfort food, good vibes, and a chef who truly cares. Will definitely be back! truffle gnocchi is pretty gooood. the char is quite nice! the gnocchi is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. the truffle mushroom sauce makes every bite heavy with the rich taste of truffle. maybe after a while its a been gelak haha so can share!!

Truffle Gnocchi $18.80 - 7/10 Gnocchi is pan fried on one side, but I find the truffle cream on the lighter end. There's quite a lot of mushrooms, which is great. Mafadale Duck Ragu Pasta $19.80 - 8.5/10 Great pasta texture, nice tasty tomato sauce, lots of shredded duck. In general, I think the price is pretty steep, but will still come back for the duck ragu pasta if got chance. Need to ensure that you have time to wait for the pasta to be prepared. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
