A Better Bowl of Suki When a beloved local spot opens a spin-off, you always hope it lives up to the original. In the case of this pan-fried suki and noodle shop, this location not only lives up to its name—it surpasses it. While the original branch is still around, this one is clearly the better of the two. The difference is immediately noticeable. The wok hei, that beautiful smoky aroma from the high-heat cooking, is more pronounced here, making every bite even more flavorful. The meat is consistently tender, the vegetables remain perfectly crisp, and the special sauce is as tasty as ever. The only real downside is the parking situation. It’s all street parking, and if you visit during peak hours, be prepared for a bit of a challenge to find a spot.
